DSL doesnt work with UTorrent

recently i have changed my internet provider from a cable modem to a DSL and now I can not connect to utorrent. I can download torrents, but no one can get anything from me.

I had no problems with the cable modem

is there a fix for this or do i have to get a new torrent program that is DSL compadable

hmm bellsouth is not listed as bad isp

maybe it's some setting .. is you connection through a router ?

dont know i got these things connected to every phone line

is your pc directly connected or is there some gadged in between (hard to explain)

its a dsl modem connected to a phone line phone filter i have 5 of theseseach connected to all phones

Error Message:

A firewall and/or router is limiting your network traffic. You need to open up a port so others can connect to you.

What is a "router" i do not have one. Its a netopia dsl modem with phone line phone filters.
