FLAC to MP3 - best way?

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on the best software to use to convert FLAC to MP3.  Is Super still the best to use?

I know it's a controversial topic on some boards, but I know the community here isn't like that, hehe.  The simple reason I want to do it is because I'm about to get a new iPod and I have been organizing all my music and I've got about 20GB of stuff I only have in FLAC, so I simply want to have everything in MP3 so I can load it all up on my new device.  I prefer strict MP3 vs. using the iPod formats in case I ever switch brands, I want the most compatibility.

Thanks so much for any advice!

Open the FLAC with Audacity and then export it as an MP3. Don't forget to change your bitrate options in preferences.

Audacity is fine. Personally, I use a paid-for program called UltraMP4 converter and, although intended to convert stuff TO mp4, it does pretty well everything to anything and quickly - audio and video (although it doesn't "see" flac files unless you choose all files). Free lifetime upgrades as well.
Sorry, I really like this program.
I'm presently converting the Forever tracks to mp3 for use on my mp3 player and a flash stick thingy that plugs into my hi-fi system. ;D

To what should the bitrate options be changed?

I already have Audacity and was just wondering what the correct bitrate settings should be.  But, I downloaded "FLAC to MP3" anyway - and was happy to learn that you can convert many files at once.  So, that's what I used.

Thanks for your help, guys.
