I am totally stumped... Please help.

I have downloaded a few torrents.

I have tried playing them, but nothing happens.

I have installed the holiday divx,
VLC, quicktime, vistacodec package, flac, and a few others.

Please help me get these files working.

Okay.

1) Which torrents have you downloaded?

2) You know you can't play the actual .torrent file. All that is is a small info file that tells a torrent program (like bitTorrent or Azeureus) where to go to get the file from others. The .torrent file does not contain any actual media.

Yes, I think you are missing the BitTorrent client program. There are many to choose from, though.

Google "uTorrent" and use that one. I suggest uTorrent for most users.

Install that and then it'll all make sense.
