I need help with my torrent

I have downloaded the illuminations holiday video torrent. I have also downloaded ABC.
I have set the torrent to open with ABC but it will not work. I get the ABC file page. How do I actually play the video?

you downloaded the torrent with abc or just the torrent file and abc as program (no connection inbetween) -_-

i downloaded the torrent with ABC.
It took over an hour to do so.
Is that a long time?

It is an older torrent, which normally don\'t have much seeders anymore. So an hour sounds like a normal deal for this one.

you need to open the .wmv file you downloaded, not the .torrent file. the .torrent file is the same name, but is just for the bittorrent client to sort out. you need to find out where you set the video to download to on your computer.

Sorry for the double post.
I downloaded another torrent and I selected it to open with ABC. I clicked apply and when I go to open it, it will not open!
What am I doing wrong. I followed all of Marni\'s instructions in his post.

I think what you are missing here is that the Torrent Client (like ABC) does not actually play the videos (or audio). The torrent client downloads the file for you. The files on this site are just \"torrent files\" that tell your Torrent Client where and how to download the file. Try uTorrent. It works very well for me. Do a Google Search, and it should be easy to find.

Once you install uTorrent, you should be able to open the torrent files with it and download them.

Once you download the actual file (in this case a .wmv file), you should be able to just click on the .wmv file and it should open with Windows Media Player automatically.
