Problems Downloading

Hi I just joined the site and I tried to download the Disneyland Forever torrent. It showed up in my uTorrent client but it's at 0% all day and it says there are no seeders but on the site it says there are 11 seeders and that the speed is 3.46 KB/sec. Do I need to do something else to download the torrent?

Hi there, and welcome! 

It usually depends on your internet connection (dial-up, cable, etc.) If you have dial-up, that may be the problem. If it's not that, it could be the way uTorrent is configured. You may have to do some port forwarding[/irul] before your download speed is somewhat decent.

Other than that, sometimes things just take a while.  :-[

What BitTorrent client are you using?  Does it report any errors or is it reporting a successful connection to the tracker?

thanks for answering. i'm using uTorrent 1.7.7 and i get a red down arrow next to the torrent name. the error is "proxy connect error: hostname not found"

oh yes and it also says "DHT Status: not allowed"
