Removing Music

I have a question, I am clearing up unwanted music from my computer and I use ITunes as my main music player. I have all my songs I listen to in Itunes. Well when I go to delete music from Itunes, Its really NOT removing them from the computer itself. Why is this happening? And what is a easy way to remove them from the WHOLE computer? I know they have to be removed from the C drive but I do not know what folder specificly to look in to remove the music from? Very frusterating.

iTunes should be giving you the option to either just remove the file from the library or actually delete the file. You should be choosing to delete the file.

For those you already did, iTunes music is in your Music folder in something like /My Documents/My Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/ (in Windows XP)

When you delete the track from iTunes, press the shift key at the same time you hit the delete key. Then you will get the option to move it to the recycle bin. It will be in the second prompt.
