Router problems accessing this site!

I\'m really getting frustrated here. For no apparent reason, I have been unable to access this site since about Thursday through the normal means. I am now accessing the site through a remote proxy service. The strange thing is that I hadn\'t changed any settings at all. I chatted with techs with my ISP, and did several things that they asked me to do. First, I upgrade the router\'s (Linksys WRT-54 v3.1) firmware. Next, I rebooted everything. Next, I tried bypassing the router completely. When I bypass the router, the site comes up perfectly.

All DNS settings are correct. The status bar in IE stops on \"Connecting to 72.18.130.37\" That tells me that DNS is working fine. I cannot even ping the site at all when I\'m connected through my router. I have also done a hard reset on the router and re-upgraded the firmware.

I\'m out of ideas here. Help!!!!!
 
Yes, I did both a few times just to make sure. Now, the router reboots fine, and I can access the setup page, but I can\'t access the internet at all through the router. I had to bypass it completely again to access anything at all. Is the router just shot? It is only a couple years old...
 
Stupid question, however have you done a virus/spyware scan?

I\'m thinking you shouldn\'t be able to acces any Internet site if there were the case, so the proxy shouldn\'t be working, but I\'ve had some spyware do some strange things.
