Still trying to get audio

I'm very new to the torrent thing. Please help.

OK, I downloaded ABC, and I seemingly was able to download a file. However, when trying to open the file to play, nothing happens. I tried opening with itunes & abc without success. am I missing something?

Does the size of the file you downloaded look the size it's supposed to be?
You have downloaded the torrent file and then opened it in ABC and downloaded an actual file?
What file was it? Can you play other files of this type on your PC?
Have you downloaded files that DO work (from anywhere)?
Was it a single file or a folder of files? (Some torrents with many smaller files are within a folder so you need to open the folder (usual way) and then select the individual file to play.
Sorry so many questions but a dud file is very rare indeed so it may  be your client or just you missing something. Easy to do when you are just starting with torrents.
If you can give answers to ALL the above, we'll get you sorted ;D
Lastly, try Azureus. It's pretty stable.

It does take a little while to find your way around torrents (it took me ages and a load of questions to the forums before I got it).
