hey guys, new to the site and couldn't be more excited. about how long does it typically take for validation? also, how long should the e-mail take to get to my inbox? Thanks!
 
You should get it instantly... you can also try changing your e-mail address to another one in the User Control Panel.  It will send another validation letter.
 
The email should be sent automatically within seconds, but I guess it takes a little while for full-validation to occur.  Can I moderator please answer this question?

Similar to many others, I did not get my original validation e-mail.  I then changed the e-mail address to something random and corrected it, at which point I did receive a validation e-mail.
