Moving Files

Hi all,

I was just curious, I want to straighten up my torrent folder and I was just wondering. If I move any files to new subfolders within the bittorrent downloads folder or to different locations on my drive, will that cause problems for those trying to download off of me?
 
If you move files, what you will need to do is redownload the torrent and just point it at the new location.

Azereus give you an option on where you want to save the torrents, I would imagine that most others do as well. As long as the files are EXACTLY THE SAME it will recognize them and jus start seeding.

If you change the filename, then all bets are off.
 
I think the filename is not included in the hash ... so if you change the filename (of a single file torrent) and point the torrent to the new filename it still is a full seed
