Why cant i view the forum

Hi I just joined, and validated my acount, but i still cant view the other sections in the forum or download some of the torrents, all i get is 'The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you'

Any ideas why?

there is some glitch in the forum/tracker connection .. hope this will be sloved in a future update ..

Darn... I was hoping that the recent patch fixed that.  I guess not.

Unfortunately, SirLamer is the only person able to fix this. Have faith, it will get fixed.

SirLamer tried to increase our Admin power, but I am still not able to change your status in the Forum.

I only have access to 3 categories in the forum? Technical Assistance / Instructional Guides / The Mouse on the Screen.. Im a new member here still but I'm sure I saw more before? :) Is this th same issue as above? "FutureImagineer" is having the same issue I believe.

i seem to be having the same problem- 

i can only view Technical Assistance / Instructional Guides / The Mouse on the Screen and i keep getting the forum off limits message.

if i could get fixed, i'd appreciate it.  :)

I'm having the same problem.  Can access only the Technical Assistance / Instructional Guides / The Mouse on the Screen forums.  ???
 
hi i'm having the same problem - new member, can only see 3 forums, and get error messages when clicking on the forum messages that appear on the left.  thanks -Todd
 
Would it be worth posting a detailed sticky for this "what to do if you can't see all the forums"?
It may help to post the sequence for joining (ie registration, waiting for the email and replying etc) and then what to do if the "validating" remains (and where to find the status) and the times.
Although there seems to have been problems recently, quite a few are for the missing (probably junked) emails that haven't been replied to.
It's often nice to be able to see what may have gone wrong and who to contact.
Just a thought for saving the admin time.

The problem is a bug in the registering module. The user did get the email and validated. The site is actually two sites in one and the change to full member is not coming through in the Forum. So, not much the user can do about this unfortunately.

It will get fixed in the future, no doubt about it. In the meantime, I will just do my Admin trick when asked.  ;D

At least people are reading the forum/searching rather than starting new threads. That can't be bad :)

I just validated my account and all that, and I too seem to be having the same error when trying to access the forum.  :-\

FYI, the software developer claims to have fixed this issue with their latest release.  I'll put it on soon.
 
Ditto here, thought Id try and get my account fixed.  I have 10 gigs or so of music and hopefully I see something in a forum that someone would like to hear.  Right now its all very secret, and my decoder ring isn't helping much. ::)

Your problem is different. You have not validated yourself by clicking on the link in the validation email you received. Please check your mail (spam also) and follow instructions.

Hi, I'm pretty sure that I Validated, but that was a while ago. but I too, just like the rest of the herd can't view the forms.
